Chapter 3: "Creation" For a brief moment in time, all was well. With the creation of the planes, the gods were preoccupied with enjoying themselves and exploring their homes. Aecron and Uthoria spent their time filling their plane with wonderous sights and splendors. Dekthara and Monshe helped guide the gods in the ways of altering their planes and soon each was filled with reflections of the gods themselves and no two were matching in design. However, it was during this time that Gulfron chose to make his move. Angered by the gods flocking to the will of Aecron and resentful of Dekthara and Monshe for not creating a plane for himself, his wrath grew to the extent that he despised existance. Surely Dekthara and Monshe were not being true to themselves. Where they actually time and space, then why would they place a god as a leader and not themselves? Being in the forms they took, it seemed to Gulfron their wisdom was tainted, and the only way to erase their flaws would be to return them to their former glory. Then it was that Gulfron came before Dekthara. Taking the form of Uthoria, he expressed fear of Gulfron and suspected him of plotting to destroy them all. To this, Dekthara comforted the disguised Gulfron saying to fear not for as long as Falibreious was at the axis of the worlds, all would be safe. Thanking Dekthara, Gulfron departed and set about his sinister plot. If he could take the axis from the worlds, surely they would collide and destroy one another. Laughing, Gulfron made his way on. Uthoria, whose foresight had been severed when her eye had been gouged out, was at this time enjoying the beauties of her realm. Suddenly, however, a shock ran through her essence and her sight returned. There before her, Gulfron stood at the axis of the worlds and placed his hand on the hilt of the magnificent sword. Then, all faded to black; a cold endless darkness which none could bare to abide within let alone witness. Crying out in pain, Uthoria collapsed and Aecron was shocked at the revelation of their potential demise. Searching out Dekthara and Monshe, Aecron became concerned when he could no find them. Rallying the other gods, Aecron informed them of the vision and soon they banded together and set out to confront Gulfron at the axis of worlds. Upon reaching the enterance to the axis of worlds, the gods cried out in fear as from the entrance Gulfron appeared, holding within in his left hand the axis itself, Falibreious. Declaring the planes doomed, Gulfron turned to watch the destruction. However, it was not to be. For you see, removing Falibreious from the axis of worlds did cause them to collide, but something unexpected happened. Instead of destroying each other, a peice of each plane seeped into the axis and intertwined with the others. Soon to everyones amazement, a new plane came into existance, sharing the attributes of all the gods. At this, Gulfron went into a frenzy. Instead of destroying the gods and planes, he had inadvertently created a new one. Turning on the gods he made his assult. Slicing through them with Falibreious, it seemed no god could touch him. Coming before Aecron, Gulfron attacked him and knocked him down. Taunting Aecron with the fact that he was no longer a match for himself, Gulfron prepaired to deliver the final blow. Just then, between Aecron and Gulfron, Dekthara and Monshe appeared. Thanking Aecron for the love he had shown them, they then turned to face Gulfron who was unphased. Slicing through the two with ease, their essences quickly reverted to their true forms. Then to Gulfron's ill fate, the essences combined and struck Falibreious, knocking it from Gulfron's hand. Landing beyond the gods, Gulfron was unable to reach it without being met by the masses of angry gods. Quickly, Aecron was to his feet and set to strike Gulfron. Looking to Aecron, the gods asked what should be done with Gulfron. In honesty, Aecron replied he knew not. Then it was that Uthoria came forward and suggested he be returned to the void, to which the gods agreed. Gulfron was then bound and taken to the edge of the void. Decreeing his punishment, Aecron commanded him to be hurled into the void for all eternity and the gods complied. Descending into the void, Gulfron soon vanished and was seen no more. Still uneasy of the void and of her vision, Uthoria set about and created two hawks to stand guard over the void. Their unblinking eyes caught everything and their cry could shake the planes themselves. Were anything to come out of the void, they would immediately know. Then came time to decide what to do with Falibreious. Some thought to return it to the axis of the worlds, but it no longer existed. Others thought that Aecron should wield it since he was the first of the gods. While many suggestions were made, a voice soon spoke up asking where Falibreious was. Turning to the place where it had lay, the mighty sword was not to be found. Searching every plane and all around the entrance to the new world, Falibreious could not be found. Some wondered if it had managed to fall to the new world. Where it had gone was unknown, however this uneasiness of the gods lasted but for a while. Their attention soon turned to the new world. Now that Gulfron was locked away in the void, peace was abound and the gods decided it time to explore the new world, whos fate had yet to be written.
